Gatherings & Festivals

Our school year is woven with gatherings that root us in the rhythms of the seasons, the beauty of the earth, and the strength of our shared humanity. These festivals and gatherings create meaningful touchpoints that anchor our learning, nurture joy and reverence, and deepen our connection with one another. Each event is rooted in wonder, nature, and the human spirit–offering students, families, and teachers the opportunity to reflect, celebrate, and belong.

Back to School Potluck

A warm, joyous evening where we reconnect after summer and welcome new families into our community. With homemade food and friendly conversation, this gathering sets the tone for belonging and community.

Pumpkin Gathering

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

Lantern Walk

A heartfelt tradition in which families walk with softly glowing lanterns as dusk falls. Through candlelight and song, we nurture a sense of warmth and inner light as the days grow shorter.

Winter Spiral

A peaceful ritual held as Winter Solstice approaches. Children walk a spiral path of evergreen, each lighting a candle from a central flame, symbolizing the light they carry into winter’s quiet.

Earth Day Festival

A celebration of our planet’s beauty and resilience. With nature-based crafts, campus projects, and outdoor activities, families come together to honor the earth and our collective stewardship.

End-of-Year Picnic

Our bright finale! Families gather for a joyful picnic filled with stories, laughter, and connection. Students share their learning, and together we honor a year of growth, creativity, and wonder.

Beyond our seasonal festivals, our community comes alive through joyful, everyday moments of connection. From parent education nights and our all-school dance-a-thon to karaoke night, the beloved parent-kid soccer game, campus work days, and community sings—there’s always something bringing us together. We love to gather, pitch in, play hard, and share life side by side.
