Our Forest School meets Thursdays and Fridays from 9am to 2pm. The children will enjoy abundant free play, nature walks, nature-based crafting and even learn some primitive survival skills. There will be outdoor cooking, fort building, tending to the chickens and working the garden.

A gentle rhythm including circle time, lunch and a handwork class serves as an in-breath to help balance out all the wonderful, big, creative outdoor play.

There will also be the occasional special class such as woodworking, ceramics and martial arts during forest school. These classes will not happen every week, but will be sprinkled in throughout the semester.

Forest school is open to ages 3-9. We’ve found that having the mixed age group has been so healthy for the children. Their play is even more diverse and open. There is opportunity for learning and teaching among the children, which is so sweet to see. 

The cost for forest school will be $45/day.
