Our Admissions Process

At Back to Earth, we believe that a strong partnership between families and teachers lays the foundation for a meaningful educational experience. Our admissions process is designed to help families learn more about our school and determine if our program is a good fit for their child.

Inquire

Start by filling out our simple Enrollment Inquiry Form. This helps us know what programs you are interested in so we can be sure we have available space to welcome your child. We’ll be in touch shortly after receiving your inquiry.

Connect

We invite you to visit our campus, meet our team, and experience the rhythm of a day at Back to Earth. Scheduled tour and shadow day opportunities are offered each school year to help families gain a deeper understanding of our Waldorf-inspired, nature-based approach.

We encourage families to attend one of these set dates, but if you're unable to join us then, we’re happy to arrange a personal visit.

Apply

Following your visit, families may be invited to complete a full application. This includes a short questionnaire and a request for additional information that helps us understand your child’s learning journey so far.

Review

Our teachers and leadership will thoughtfully review each application. This step helps us ensure that Back to Earth is a good fit for your child and family.

Enroll

If it’s a good fit, you’ll be invited to complete enrollment by submitting the non-refundable enrollment fee, which secures your child’s spot. Additional paperwork and tuition arrangements will follow.

Waiting List

If a class reaches full enrollment, any additional inquiries will be placed on our waiting list. To be eligible for the waiting list, families must first complete an enrollment inquiry.

If an opening becomes available, families on the waiting list will be contacted directly.

Please note:

  • Placement on the waiting list does not follow a numbered list.

  • Openings are offered at the discretion of the Lead Teacher, taking into consideration the balance and needs of the class.

  • A child will remain in the wait pool until either:
    • They are enrolled at Back to Earth
    • An opening is offered and declined
