Firefly Friends
…is a Waldorf/nature-based parent and tot class for ages 0-4 that meets weekly at Back to Earth.
Come enjoy the company of other parents/caregivers and their little ones. Support your child’s development while receiving an introduction to the Waldorf approach to early education.
In the parent-tot program children freely play in the space as teacher Leigh Patton shares and discusses the art of parenting, creating rhythm, as well as childhood development from a Waldorf perspective.
Seasonal songs, stories, and an organic snack with tea are part of the weekly experience.
What a morning with the Firefly Friends looks like:
9:00 arrival/good morning song
9:15 free play for children while parents/caregivers connect, work on a seasonal handwork project & learn the art of child observation.
10:15 organic snack & tea
10:45 circle and/or seasonal lap story
11:00 transition outside, goodbye song
